Umbilical Flushing and Purging

On-site Client Umbilical preparation for safe waste recycling/ disposal.

RWDS carried out flushing and purging of all traces of operational fluid contained within the Umbilicals in order to guarantee no spill or pollution to the environment ready for the next step of on-site umbilical cutting/processing to take place.

After the umbilical was flushed and purged, RWDS spooled and cut the umbilical into suitable lengths were it was then sent to a specialist to be recycled.

Mooring Rope Safe waste Disposal

Product: 200mm Diameter fibre rope

RWDS was contacted by a client to help with the safe waste disposal of a redundant 1800 Meter Long mooring rope. The rope was cut into manageable sections and then loaded and logistally removed from the clients site Safely and on schedule.

ROV / Wire Rope Recycling

RWDS has on various occasions helped to spool/cut and prepare for recycling REDA and ROV cable of which its recyclable materials can be used to help to off-set the cost to the Decommisioing job, whilst ensuring redundant equipment is dealt with safely and environmentally friendly.

Decommission Non Transportable Equipment

Large/Unsafe /Heavy loads unsuitable for transportation.

RWDS has on various occasions been involved with several Decommissioning projects on which the equipment is too Large/Heavy for transportation, or unsuitable/dangerous to be lifted due to deterioration, from which an on-site cost effective, environmentally friendly, safe solution is provided.
